SEE THE SENSE
Undertaking the BA in Visual Arts programme has allowed me to combine a range of specialisms and practices that I am passionate about; branding, sensory stimulation and product design. Connecting to people through sensory stimulants establishes a true relationship between the brand and its consumers. Producing a physical product gave me hands-on experience and the opportunity to explore a range of materials.
See The Sense is a cross-disciplinary project focussed on branding, editorial design, product design and sensory stimulation. For the purposes of the project the brand created a book exploring the realms of Sensory Branding, producing a tactile, usable book for designers to utilise. This publication showcased the idea that a brand is not merely a logo, but could be an entire experience packed full of sensory stimulants with the purpose of establishing a unique and personal relationship with an audience.
