An estimated 1.6 million women looked like this in 2020. This needs to change. This is where visual communication can have a huge impact. This is why I enjoy graphic design.

I am a graphic design student based in Kent. For one of my projects exhibited in the show I wanted to capture women’s strength and power through imagery and typography. After researching into domestic abuse, I knew I needed to shine a light on the truth of domestic abuse for everyone to see and try to spark a change in our society.

Throughout this project, I have developed my design skills and pushed the boundaries of my creative thinking.
