BA (Hons) Visual Arts at Canterbury College

Course Information

 

The BA (Hons) Visual Arts is a top-up degree course accredited by the University of Kent, for students who have already completed the HND or equivalent, who are seeking an in-depth creative experience. This course aims to develop students’ critical understanding of their chosen area of creative practice through the development of project work and an extended written assignment.

The final module of the course encourages students to develop a series of appropriate promotional tools to prepare them for employment. Established industry links and guest lecture programs support students development and progression. Students also benefit from yearly study trips to Amsterdam, Switzerland and Berlin.

HND Art & Design at Canterbury College

The HND Art & Design course focuses on developing students creative practice within Graphic Design / Photography and Art Practice, offering an interdisciplinary programme exploring both 2D and 3D processes and techniques. Projects will support the investigation and exploration of a wide range of themes, responding to both personally generated and live projects, working with employers to develop employability skills.
